When Elder Christensen came
to Blackburn about
three weeks ago i was on an exchange with Elder
Razanadahy
and we were exchanging back that day
so we decided to try by someone in the
area and on
our way there we street contacted someone and set up
a return
appointment. We tried to contact him multiple
times after that but he was
either not in or was busy.
Then last Monday night we weren't sure what we
should do for i believe the next hour before our next
appointment and we
decided to try by the man we
street contacted again, which we did and he was in
and he invited us in. We were able to teach him the
Restoration and I invited
him to be baptized on April
19th and he said yes.
(Mike's
new area is Stretford, just outside of Manchester. His new companion is Elder
Yates from Bountiful, Utah and they share an apartment with their Zone Leaders,
Elder Chong from Malaysia and Elder Calliera from Portugal).
Saturday
an investigator of ours was baptised. He was found
quite a while back possibly around 3 years ago and now he has finally been
baptised. Yesterday he was confirmed a member and then later that night we
went to the missionary fireside in Swinton and he bore his testimony there
as well. Also i got to see my mission brother Elder Gourrat who is from
Tahiti (Elder Leiva trained him). We had
a great week this week.
